Home Learning Monday 14th March 2022

Good morning everyone. I am so sorry that I could not come back to school today. I have my fingers, toes and everything else crossed that I get a negative test VERY soon! I am missing you all and so is Rory! ๐Ÿ˜” Here are your home learning tasks for today …

Reading

Read your books for 15 minutes – a nice gentle start to the week! ๐Ÿ˜

English/ Spelling

This week, we are looking at the ‘a’ sound using the letters ‘ey’

Task 1: Go on EdShed and play the game to practise this week’s list.

Task 2: Write a SHORT story (half a page or less!) using words from the list, you may add prefixes or suffixes to the words if you would like to. You may write your story by hand or you could use a computer if you prefer.

  • Bronze – use 3 words from the list
  • Silver – use 5 words from the list
  • Gold – use all 10 words in your story!

Our spelling list is here:

Please choose the level that feels right for you and complete only that level. You will find the answers on the following page of the document so that you can see how you got on!
